Ideas for using it
- One table at a time: after the table’s own pack, make a sheet of just that table with “Multiply by 1 to 12”.
- Mixed review: once a few tables are known, mix them so children cannot rely on counting in steps.
- Hard facts only: the “hard ones” button picks 6, 7, 8, 9 and 12, where most mistakes happen.
- Same sheet, two children: print it once, then press “New problems” for a different version for the next desk.
Common questions
Is the multiplication worksheet generator free?
Yes. There is no account, no watermark and no limit. The PDF is built in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
Can I make a different worksheet every day?
Yes. Press "New problems" for a fresh random set with the same settings. Every table and factor you choose is used before any fact repeats.
Are the answer keys correct?
The maker works out every answer from the problems on the sheet, so the key always matches. Untick "Answer key page" if you want to print the questions only.
Which style should I choose?
"Across" (7 × 8 = __) is the quickest for fact practice and timed drills. "In columns" gets children used to the layout they will use for bigger numbers. "Missing number" (7 × __ = 56) builds the link to division.
How can I use it for timed tests?
Choose 30 or 50 problems in the "Across" style, set a timer for a few minutes, and use the Time and Score boxes at the top of the sheet. Compare scores over a few weeks rather than day to day.
